Lucknow, November 10 : The birthday of Dr Jagdish Gandhi, a staunch proponent of world unity and world peace, renowned educationist and Founder Manager of City Montessori School, was celebrated today across all CMS campuses with great enthusiasm in an atmosphere of simplicity and goodwill. On this occasion, thousands of staff, teachers and students of City Montessori School, congratulated their spiritual guardian and pioneer of world humanity, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi on his birthday and in turn received his blessings. There was steady influx of well-wishers throughout the day today. At the celebrations held at the CMS Head Office, several officials and eminent people were present including Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi, President & MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and educationist from UK, Mr Roger David Kingdon.  On this occasion, litterateur, Pt Hari Om Sharma enlivened the atmosphere by reciting a poignant poem on the life and work of Dr Jagdish Gandhi.
    Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to everyone on this occasion, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi said that I am extremely happy that due to the sustained efforts of CMS staff, teachers and students, the awareness for the need of World Unity is fast gaining ground all over the world. It is also due to the result of the dedicated efforts of CMS staff, teachers and students that Chief Justices, Judges and Heads of States of 65 countries, including Presidents, Prime Ministers, Speakers of Parliament, Law Ministers, Members of Parliament etc. are arriving on 18th November to participate in the 23rd International Conference of Chief Justices of the World being organized by the school.
        On this occasion, several eminent people, while expressing their views on the personality and work of Dr. Gandhi, said that it is difficult to find another example of the dedication and selfless devotion with which Dr. Gandhi is engaged in shaping the future of the children. There are many such inspiring qualities in the personality of Dr. Gandhi which are worth adopting.
