Ahimsa March of CMS teachers ....... Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya to inaugurate Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations of CMS


Lucknow, September 30: Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya will inaugurate the grand celebrations organized by City Montessori School to mark the 153rd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the UN International Day of Non-violence tomorrow on Saturday, 1st October at 9.00 am at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. On this occasion, the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi will be garlanded to remember their deeds and CMS teachers will present various educational cultural items disseminating the concept of an ideal society. The grand 'Gandhi Jayanti celebrations' will propagate the spirit of non-violence and the message of cleanliness in the whole world, as well as to keep the Indian culture and civilization intact.
   Ahead of 'Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations', more than three thousand teachers and workers of City Montessori School will be taking out a grand 'Ahimsa March' tomorrow on October 1, Saturday spreading out the thoughts and teachings of the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, far and wide. Clad in white khadi, CMS teachers will commence their huge March at 7.30 am from Maqdoompur Police Station, Gomti Nagar extension to culminate into a large assembly on reaching at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. Founders of CMS and renowned educationists Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi and CMS President, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon along with the Principals of all CMS Campuses will be leading this March. It will also be joined by the noted figures from the field of education, literary, journalism and others who will also spread the message of Bapu.
